What's COMING UP
Tuesday 8 November, 2016
In an abandoned gaol on Sydney Harbour, an eccentric bunch of hobbyists attempts to make contact with The Unknown. Joining them is a hardline non-believer who unexpectedly finds himself on an unsettling journey through life, death and the afterlife.
This new show from Sydney-based company Critical Stages is a heartfelt, fright-filled and comedic tale of soul searching, wisecracking and old fashioned ghost hunting. Devised and performed by playwright and raconteur Phil Spencer (Story Club ABC 2, Boxing Day) with original music supplied by magical banjo-picking songstress Julia Johnson (Julia and the Deep Sea Sirens), it has already been a hit with audiences at the Sydney Theatre Company, Lorne Arts Festival and the Sydney Fringe Festival. Now it's hitting the road with a tour of NSW, and visiting Barraba on Tuesday 8th November. Don't miss it!
"Spencer’s charm and winning on-stage charisma is simply delightful.”
